Why does your firm have negative reviews?

The work we do for our clients includes delivering unwelcome news or making demands upon homeowners and unit owners. Sometimes, people lash out, and one way they do that is by posting reviews online. Nearly all are not our clients but our clients' adversaries or our clients' homeowners who are temporarily adverse to our client associations. Anyone can post online reviews, and they are not pre-screened for truthfulness or conflicts of interest.

Can't you just eliminate those reviews or add positive ones?

Review websites do not typically allow the deletion of negative reviews, and replying to and even changing a poster's mind does not affect the rating or review (unless the poster does so voluntarily). Rules Regulating the Florida Bar limit what a lawyer can do with negative reviews.

For instance, the Rules prohibit us from incentivizing people to post positive reviews or remove negative reviews. We can't waive attorney fees incurred by an association in exchange for a positive review (some other kinds of businesses can offer discounts for positive reviews, for example).

What if I am satisfied with your service and want to leave a review?

We would welcome a positive review from you, of course. Remember, we cannot compensate you with money for a positive review. You can leave a review by visiting Reviews. Thank you for your interest!
