about-us-1

Our Approach

Our Firm has two attorneys and top-notch legal support folks including a Florida certified paralegal. We focus on community association law but stay active in related fields like real estate, probate, and business entities. We’re dedicated to working on community governance, collection, and covenant enforcement matters. Quality, responsive work is important to us.

Our Story

Wyant-Cortez & Cortez, Chartered (“Firm”), including its predecessor firm Hilley & Wyant-Cortez, PA, has provided legal counsel and services to communities, homeowners, property managers, and real estate investors for over 24 years. We represent about 100 communities in South Florida. Our clients enjoy personalized service and attention – when a manager or board member calls, they talk to the attorney doing the work and who knows the Association’s current issues – the Firm’s partners – and do not get passed around to associates. Claire is among Florida’s first attorneys to be certified by the Florida Bar in Condominium and Planned Development Law!

Meet the Firm's Attorneys

Both Larry and Claire began practicing law “later in life” and are partners in “real life” too! We have a different, broader perspective than most law firms, reflected in our client representation - but there are other advantages in hiring us.
